Tariq Pordily is the Director of Social, Life & Care, bringing extensive experience across allied health, psychotherapy, social work and trauma-informed practice.
With a background in mental health, disability, youth justice, torture and trauma rehabilitation, and family counselling, Tariq is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals and families.
Holding roles as a clinician, consultant and academic lecturer, he integrates clinical expertise with a strong focus on dignity, cultural humility and holistic wellbeing. Tariq leads Social, Life & Care with a vision to provide high-quality, person-centred services that empower people to build capacity, strengthen resilience and thrive.
My Story
Tariq began Social, Life & Care with a simple belief: every person deserves to be seen, heard and supported with dignity.
After years working across mental health, disability, youth justice and trauma rehabilitation, he witnessed how powerful the right support can be in changing the direction of someone’s life.
What started as a vision to provide compassionate, evidence-based care grew into a multidisciplinary service dedicated to empowering individuals and families. Today, Tariq leads Social, Life & Care with the same passion that inspired its beginning — a commitment to community, wellbeing and meaningful human connection.
